CitySwitch Adelaide: Effective green teams training

The first steps for designing successful behaviour change programs in your organisation

9am – 12.30pm, registration from 8:45am
Wednesday, 30 July 2014
Adelaide Town Hall, David Spence Room, 1/128 King William Street, Adelaide

Ever caught yourself secretly wondering about the people in your organisation when it comes to energy efficiency? They have all the information and infrastructure they need to support environmentally sustainable behaviours, yet the office lights are still left on at the end of the day.....

This interactive workshop highlights some of the main influencers of human behaviour and recommends critical (yet often over-looked) first steps for successful behaviour change programs.

Through examples and case studies of successful behaviour change programs this workshop will help you gain an understanding of:

  • The complexity of behaviour and why behaviour change programs take time and effort
  • How to define the behaviour clearly when engaging with a target audience
  • Why is it important to talk to the target audience first before designing a behaviour change program
  • How to run more effective Green Teams in your organisation to support energy efficiency (and other sustainability) efforts.
