Industry briefing: changing sustainability requirements

In August, senior representatives of Adelaide's property sector met with Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese, to identify opportunities for the property sector from changing sustainability requirements.

In an extension of that conversation, the Property Council, together with the City of Adelaide, NABERS and the Commercial Building Disclosure Program would like to invite all interested stakeholders in the commercial property sector to attend a briefing session.

Hear from key agencies and organisations shaping the forward policy context for the property sector in line with Australia's international commitments. Be updated on the increasing benefits of using NABERS ratings systems to benchmark performance, including NABERS Co-Assess for low cost tenancy ratings, the latest for commercial building disclosure, and local incentives for action.

A panel session will discuss how the tools and changes will affect building owners and the wider sector, and provide insight into the opportunities for Adelaide's property sector to capitalise from this changing landscape.

Date: Wednesday 19 September 2018
Time: 9.00am - 11.30am
Where: Thomson Geer, 19 Gouger Street, Adelaide
