About the Battery Storage for Business Masterclass

This one day Masterclass focuses on integrating new battery technologies into projects for energy users and energy efficiency professionals.

Participants will gain an understanding of both the technical and financial considerations, including the benefits, risks and usage scenarios for different battery chemistries.

The Office of Environment and Heritage developed this Masterclass after conducting on site feasibility investigations that revealed businesses can gain value from battery storage by using the technology to meet their renewable and sustainability targets.

In fact, one business found it could increase its proportion of renewable consumption on site from 40% to 65% of its load by installing a battery system to capture energy generated by its photovoltaic systems. The technology would allow this business to get closer to achieving its long-term goal of energy self-sufficiency.

The Masterclass is the perfect primer for anyone considering including battery storage in their future energy projects.
