Using a building management committee

A building management committee is formed from both tenant and landlord representatives, tasked at managing their respective needs and obligations. Regular committee meetings are a way to make sure things get done to meet a green lease’s targets.

The Property Council of Australia's Guide to Office Building Quality suggests that all premium and A Grade office buildings should have regular building management committee meetings and active environmental education services.

In the video, Paul Bannister of Exergy provides more information on how an effective committee should operate, what skills are required, appropriate performance indicators and the potential costs.
