Please join us for the Developer's mini-Buyers Bootcamp in Brisbane at the Clean Energy Council’s Large-scale Solar Forum next Thursday 16th May from 1:30-4:30pm.

This free event, presented by the Business Renewables Centre Australia (BRC-A), will provide a buyers perspective - preferred deal structures, decision-making and selection, buyers' internal approvals processes for executing PPAs. This event will feature:

  • An update on the current Queensland and National PPA market.
  • A walk through the BRC-A Buyers Roadmap - What steps and tools are we providing to guide energy buyers through to help grow the PPA market?
  • A focus on the RFP processes - How to improve your resonse for success.
  • 'Do's' and 'Don'ts' for project developers - A consultant's experience working across multiple projects.
  • What are buyers saying? Hear from energy buyers that have executed PPAs.

Presentations and panel sessions will feature experienced corporate renewable energy buyers and specialists, including:

  • Andrew Wilson, Manager - Energy & Sustainability, The University of Queensland.
  • Simon Crock, Coordinator Commercial Analysis, Sunshine Coast Council.
  • Simon Prunster, GHG & Energy Specialist, Yarra Valley Water and Zero Emissions Water (VIC).
  • Dan Brown, Partner, Ashurst.
  • Jonathan Prendergast, Technical Director BRC-A and UTS.

This event will also be a fantastic opportunity for corporate energy buyers and professional service providers as well as project developers to attend to learn more about the PPA procurement process and to join the conversation.
