How would you like to work next to your MD or CEO one day and with your colleagues in another part of the office the next? Join us to hear more about the Commonwealth Bank’s journey and motivation behind their new Activity Based Working (ABW) office in Perth.
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (Bankwest Place) new office is designed to achieve a 5 star Green Star and 4.5 NABERS Energy rating and is their newest sustainable group precinct.
Bringing design considerations back closer to home, we'll also hear from sustainability expert and personality Josh Byrne who is currently undertaking his most ambitious house project yet – the design and construction of two 10 star NatHERS energy efficient family homes in Hilton. Hear what has been achieved and learn what can be done in your own home.
This event presentations will be followed by morning tea and a guided tour of one of the Commonwealth Banks tenancy floors, showcasing the various sustainable design features.
Josh Byrne is an Environmental Scientist with a passion for sustainable gardening, appropriate
technology and innovative environmental design. He is recognised as a national leader in
sustainable landscape design and urban water management and is well known for his media
