Looking for a Grant? Take a look at these funding opportunities around the country

There is government funding available to help you to improve energy efficiency of your organisation.  Here's a list of a few we know that you may be interested in:

 

VICTORIA:

Sustainability Victoria (SV) have several funding programs available at the moment, including the Better Commercial Building Program (funding up to $30k to improve a building by 1 Star NABERS rating).  Contact Jeff Elliott to find out more at buildings@sustainability.vic.gov.au

Additionally there is also a variety of SV grants for improving gas efficiency, energy efficiency and materials efficiency.

There is also access to a finance option, Environmental Upgrade Agreements, to help fund capital expenditure.  Finally, the State Governments Victorian Energy Upgrades scheme also provides rebates for products such as commercial lighting.

 

NEW SOUTH WALES:

City of Sydney’s next ‘ratings and assessments grant’ round will begin in June-July, so you have plenty of time to get prepared. The Office of Environment & Heritage provides a range of programs to educate and improve business energy efficiency. Their Energy Saver Program is well underway assisting businesses to complete energy audits and implement upgrades.

 

SOUTH AUSTRALIA:

The State Government’s Energy Productivity Program has supported large businesses using more than 160MWh of electricity per year to become more energy efficient by providing funding for energy audits and implementation of audit recommendations.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA:

There are still grants available for NABERS ratings in WA and applications will be accepted until the end of March.
