Psaros wins two prestigious sustainability awards

Leading Western Australian property developer Psaros was the recipient of two prestigious awards for sustainable development, cementing the company’s position as the leader in environmental design and sustainable practices in Perth.

In a first for a WA developer, Psaros won the National Banksia Sustainability Award for Sustainability Leadership as well as the CitySwitch State Award for New Signatory of the Year.

According to the Banksia Sustainability Award judges, Psaros has displayed a strong commitment to sustainability, having implemented a number of innovative measures to reduce their organisation’s environmental footprint and going beyond normal business practices to drive change in a very competitive industry.

Psaros CEO Danny Psaros said he was delighted and honoured that the company had been recognised for its ongoing commitment to sustainability, winning both the Banksia Sustainability Award and the CitySwitch Award.

Mr Psaros adds that the company takes great pride in leading the way for energy efficiency and sustainable practices in property development in Perth and will work continuously to find ways to reduce its carbon footprint.

The Banksia Sustainability Awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the country, showcasing the best sustainability achievements in innovation and in the business. The CitySwitch Awards showcase signatories that have demonstrated outstanding environmental leadership.
