From goals to greatness: celebrating 2024 CitySwitch champions

In June we revealed our annual results and CitySwitch champions for 2024.

Together, members kept emissions intensity low, holding steady at 31kg of carbon dioxide per square metre. Nearly half (48%) of electricity acquired came from renewable sources and more than 70% of members are setting and measuring emissions targets – including scope 3 – which is excellent.

It’s also encouraging to see 66% of members now have internal working groups or cross-functional teams supporting climate goals, a strong sign that sustainability is being embedded across organisations.

We're working on how we collect and report data. We'd like to make it more meaningful and memorable for everyone.

We’re pleased to share our CitySwitch champions for 2024. These businesses displayed an on-going commitment to the program and to planning and implementing climate action.

A most enjoyable part of our job is talking to members about what they’re doing, achieving and overcoming. Congratulations to everyone who contributes to our incredible collective action – even if in a small way. It all counts. The ripple effects of your positive action are more powerful than you think.
