Shift to renewables

Electricity is the largest contributor to Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions. It’s often the biggest contributor to a business’s carbon footprint.

You can go renewable in the following ways:

  • buying accredited GreenPower renewable electricity from an energy provider. This is often the fastest and easiest way to go renewable. It’s also an excellent option for your home too

  • buying Large Generation Certificates (LGCs).

  • power purchase agreements (PPAs) – large electricity consumers are increasingly negotiating longer term contracts with wind and solar farms.

  • installing rooftop solar.
