Resolution of office lease disputes

With a green lease in place, a collaborative and cooperative approach is taken to dispute resolution, with landlords and tenants encouraged to work together to identify and overcome issues. A specific dispute process - as outlined as a separate clause within the green lease - identifies the process to be taken.

An effective green lease needs to have enforceability, bringing energy management and other environmental issues to the fore. It is also important that the building owners and building occupants both have responsibilities and deliverables so that both will act.
